Dr. Ahmad Haniffa Cassim bought a four-bedroom, four-bath home at 6203 Avon Ave. in Temple City from Transcend Investment LLC for $900,000 on Sept. 15.

Transcend Investment LLC foreclosed on the property in May. The 2,989-square-foot house was built in 2004 in the Northwest Temple City neighborhood.

Dr. Cassim has been a family practitioner for 29 years and is based in Panorama City. He completed his residency at the Texas Tech University School of Medicine.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 202 home sales in Temple City during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $533,000.
