Carey paid $195,000 for the property in Feb. 2002. The 942-square-foot house was built in 1927.

Mr. Leener serves as president at My Eye Media, a technical and post-production services company in Burbank. He previously was a staff writer at the-signal.com, a daily community newspaper.

Mr. Leener also owns a two-bedroom, two-bath home at 27217 Blakely Place in Santa Clarita.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 103 home sales in Cypress Park during the past 12 months, with a median sale price of $286,000.
