Howard G. Kazanjian and Carol A. Kazanjian sold a five-bedroom, four-bath home at 1385 Old Mill Road in San Marino to Guo Xiu Dong for $5.9 million on Oct. 27.

The Kazanjians acquired the property in June 2005. The 7,346-square-foot house was built in 1926 in North San Marino/Botanical Gardens.

Mr. Kazanjian has been a producer and has worked on the films The Guardian , The Bridge of San Luis Rey, From 'Star Wars' to 'Jedi': The Making of a Saga , and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. He also worked as an assistant director and production executive.

He previously served as vice president at Lucasfilm, LTD.

He is a graduate of USC.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 122 home sales in San Marino during the past 12 months, with a median price of $1.59 million.
