Cinematics layout supervisor buys in Long Beach

Medium 9df2e96e546dfd7a5f06198e4baa03de Hezekiah and Jill McMurray bought a three-bedroom, three-bath home at 3923 Marron Ave. in Long Beach from Charles P. Lisa for $610,000 on Oct. 27.

Lisa paid $365,000 for the property in Feb. 2002. The 1,904-square-foot home in the Bixby Knolls Area was built in 1943.

Mr. McMurray is a cinematics layout supervisor at Blizzard Entertainment, an Irvine-based developer and publisher of entertainment software. He also does lighting, compositing and layout at DreamWorks Animation.

He most recently worked at World of Tomorrow, Inc. at Paramount. Prior to that, he served as a senior technologist at MicroDisplay, Intanda and Macromedia. Earlier on, he worked as a scientific programmer at Howard Hughes Medical Institute.

He attended Drake University and Baylor University.

Lisa sold a home at 4458 Carfax Ave. in Lakewood for $272,500 in Feb. 2002.

According to, there have been 3,771 home sales in Long Beach during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $300,000.
