Critical care surgeon spends $1.375M for Encino 4BD

Medium c702c2b702b3d2d8584d0fdf6f442b6f Paul Jerome Schmit and Armineh Harutunian bought a four-bedroom, five-bath home at 17539 Corinthian Drive in Encino from Minc Rentals LLC for $1.375 million on Oct. 26.

The 4,988-square-foot house was built in 1961.

Dr. Schmit is a surgeon with a sub-specialty in surgical critical care. He has a special expertise in breast cancer, gastrointestinal cancer and laproscopic surgery. He is in practice for three years already and is currently affiliated with UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center and Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.

He received his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and had his residency at the University of California-San Diego Medical Center.

Harutunian is a realtor at Century 21 Real Estate LLC.

Dr. Schmit also sold a home at 12782 Jolette Ave. in Granada Hills for $380,000 in Aug. 2002.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 744 home sales in Encino during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $415,000.
