The 1,140-square-foot house was built in 1946.

Ms. Arant serves as assistant director of development at Union Station Homeless Services, a social service agency that assists homeless and very low-income people.

Mr. Menachekanian is director of broadcast operations at KCSN 88.5 FM, a non-profit, public services of California State University-Northridge.

He attended California State University-Northridge.
