Dog rescue org founder deals Downtown Long Beach 3BD

Medium 9c01030479e7f98bc778669e2bc11f03 Bonnie J. Sheehan sold a three-bedroom, one-bath home at 445 Magnolia Ave. in Long Beach to Thuy Ho for $276,000 on Oct. 25.

Sheehan acquired the property for $29,500 in June 1997. The 1,780-square-foot house, which was built in 1906, is in Downtown Long Beach.

Sheehan is the founder of Hearts for Hounds, a non-profit dog rescue organization. They arrange for dogs from shelters to be adopted by interested individuals or families. It was founded in 1997.

Sheehan also sold a home at 442 N. Crystal Court for $215,000 in Oct. 2005.

According to, there have been 3,771 home sales in Long Beach during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $300,000.
