Ethan Gold bought a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 2651 Ivanhoe Drive in Silver Lake from Gloria and Peter G. Teschner for $1.346 million on Dec. 3.

The Teschners paid $550,000 for the property in Oct. 2001. The 2,468-square-foot house was built in 1958.

Mr. Gold is a Los Angeles-based artist and producer. He is best known for his production on Elvis Perkins' critically acclaimed album, Ash Wednesday.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 184 home sales in Silver Lake during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $554,000.
