Biochemist opts for Crestview 3BD

Medium ccd4d7187581105cc1ab1c3e145c13d0 Laurent Bentolila and Tal Paley-Bentolila bought a three-bedroom, three-bath home at 1817 S. Holt Ave. in Crestview from Gonzalo Hernandez for $585,000 on Dec. 3.

The 1,595-square-foot house was built in 1941.

Mr. Bentolila serves as the scientific director of both the Advanced Light Microscopy/Spectroscopy Laboratory and the Macro-Scale Imaging Laboratory at CNSI. He is currently teaching biological microscopy and introduction to molecular imaging.

He earned his Ph.D. in molecular genetics and immunology from the Pasteur Institute and his M.S. in genetics from Paris-XI University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 59 home sales in Crestview during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $490,000.
