Mr. Gopala is a financial analyst at Primecap Management Company, an independent investment management company. Prior to joining Primecap in May 2005, he served as an associate at Deutsche Bank. He also worked with the consulting firm Charles River Associates and served as a consultant at A.D. Little.

He earned his bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology-Madras, his master's degree in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his M.B.A. from the Sloan School of Management.
