Doctor duo spends $2.1M in Westwood

Medium ad0cee76225cbf498e6c2db7f7b04974 Haleh Bakshandeh and Dr. Arash Nowain bought a three-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 111 S. Glenroy Ave. in Westwood from Michael and Vicki Schwartz for $2.1 million on Dec. 7.

The 3,400-square-foot house was built in 1935.

Dr. Bakshandeh is a dermatologist in Beverly Hills.

She earned her M.D. from the University of Miami School of Medicine, where she also completed her residency in dermatology and cutaneous surgery.

Dr. Nowain is a gastroenterologist at LaPeer Surgery Center in Beverly Hills.

He graduated from the Keck School of Medicine at University of Southern California and went on to complete his residency training in internal medicine at the Los Angeles County/USC General Hospital. He served his fellowship at the Keck School of Medicine.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 250 home sales in Westwood during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $711,000.
