Mark Marderness and his wife, Yumei, bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 1122 Rumbold St. in Gardena from Capstone Equity Fund LLC for $425,000 on Dec. 7.

The 1,364-square-foot house in South Gardena was built in 1957.

Mr. Marderness is the president and CEO of Parishioners Federal Credit Union, a Torrance-based Catholic-affiliated credit union in California.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 350 home sales in Gardena during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $309,000.
