Aerospace expert lists Beverly Crest home for $2.75M

Medium c05ba40868d5093ef6e70f363bb4bb27 Peter Diamandis and Dezso Molnar have listed for sale a four-bedroom, 4.5 bath home at 2505 Bowmont Drive in Beverly Crest for $2.75 million.

Diamandis, Molnar and Jesse Kramer bought the property for $650,000 in Oct. 2002. The 1,240-square-foot house was built in 1958.

Stephen Lynch of Sotheby's International Realty is the listing agent.

Diamandis is the chairman and CEO of the X Prize Foundation in Los Angeles. He is also the chairman and CEO of Zero Gravity Corporation, a commercial aircraft company, and the managing director and co-founder of Space Adventures, which brokered the space flight of four private citizens to the International Space Station.

He also co-founded the Strasbourg, France based International Space University in 1987. He received his B.S. in molecular genetics and graduate degree in aerospace engineering from M.I.T. He also holds an M.D. from Harvard.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 110 home sales in Beverly Crest in 2008, with median sales price of $1,312,500.
