Maltin paid $635,000 for the property in Nov. 2001. The 2,070-square-foot house was built in 1957.

Sharona Alperin of Sotheby's International Realty is the listing agent for the home.

Mr. Maltin serves as the CEO and co-founder at MEDL Mobile and CEO of DayNa Decker Environments in Los Angeles.

Prior to that, he also served as the CEO and co-founder of Momentum Gaming, Grasp Systems Inc., RepCheck Inc., Exotics Inc. and Insights Software. He attended California State University–Northridge and USC.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 456 home sales in Hollywood in 2008, with a median sales price of $715,000.
