Marc L. Bailin and Hecht and Co. have listed for sale a six-bedroom, seven-bath at 755 Stradella Road in Bel Air for $14.2 million.

Bailin paid $8.5 million for the property in Oct. 2000. The 6,877-square-foot house was built in 1931.

David Offer of Prudential California Realty is the listing agent for the home.

Mr. Bailin serves as the managing partner and co-founder of W. Financial Mortgage Fund I, LLC, a direct commercial lender which was formed in 2003 and also a senior partner and founder of Rubin, Bailin, Ortoli, Mayer & Baker LLP, a New York City law firm.

He has also served as the director and founder of Virtu Management Group, Ltd., a business management firm. He was an owner and investor in commercial and residential investment properties in the New York and real estate investment, financing and management.

He earned his B.A. at Yale University, his M.B.A. at the Columbia University Graduate School of Business, and his J.D. at Boston University School of Law.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 60 home sales in Bel Air in 2008, with median sales price of $1,825,000.
