James L. Batts and Kathy S. Batts bought a four-bedroom, 5.5-bath home at 18978 Point Dr. in Tequesta from Jeffrey C. Lee and Sylvia Lee for $3.95 million on Dec. 24.

Jeef Lee, LLC, paid $3.2 million for the property in Nov. 2004.

The 6,971-square-foot house was built in 2002.

Mr. Batts is a private investor. He was a director at his family business, Batts, Inc., a large manufacturer of garment hangers. The business was sold to Tyco International in 1999.

There were 122 sales in Tequesta in 2008, with a median sales price of $245,000.
