Dr. Ahmet Cuneyt Ozaktay and Canan Ozaktay bought a three-bath home at 19262 Redberry Court in Unincorporated Boca Raton from Moshe and Atalya Alkalay for $450,000 on Aug. 25.

Mr. Alkalay paid $385,000 for the property in July 2001. The 3,334-square-foot home in the Boca Isles subdivision was built in 1994.

Dr. Ozaktay has worked as an anesthesiologist in Bloomfield Hills, Mich.

He earned his M.D. from University of Istanbul Cerrahpasa Medical School and completed his anesthesiology training at the Wayne State University Detroit Medical School. He served his fellowship in pain management at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

Mr. Alkalay is a director at Hi Tech International Group Inc., a Boca Raton-based seller of used medical equipment.

He holds an M.S. in business administration from Louisiana College.

Ms. Alkalay is the owner of SmArtArt Art Consulting, a Boca Raton-based company that specializes in budgeting, selecting, framing and installing inexpensive artwork and mirrors for commercial spaces. She formerly served as an art consultant at Art Advice.

She attended Academia Cappiello, the Fashion Institute of Technology and New York University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 1,723 home sales in Unincorporated Boca Raton in 2008, with a median sales price of $285,000.
