The Groulxs acquired the house for $520,000 in July 2006. The 2,026-square-foot house in the Hollywood East neighborhood was built in 1942. Roger Carlier of Keyes Real Estate is the listing agent for the house.

Mr. Groulx is a body builder who won the 2003 Master Olympia title. He serves as a private trainer, teaching courses for training and nutrition, and he is the Private Trainer Association director. He has served as a recreation manager for the Palms Beach Hotel & Spa in Kuwait and he was the security manager for the Grand Hotel in Montreal.

He received his bachelor's degree in business management and marketing from the University of Quebec.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 2,852 sales in Hollywood in 2008, with a median sales price of $135,000.
