Rothfeld has served as the chief executive officer and president of Strategy LLC, a construction and environmental claims consulting firm. He was also the senior vice president of partner services and e-commerce at Choice Hotels International.

He attended the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center and the University of Florida.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 1,331 sales in Plantation in 2008, with a median sales price of $155,200.
