Javier Maynulet and his wife, Rocio Olivencia, bought a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 1435 Cecilia Ave. in Coral Gables from Rafael Villoldo, Cristina Villoldo and Maria Cachaldora for $820,000 on Sept. 29.

Mr. Villoldo and Cachaldora paid $632,500 for the property in Aug. 2005. The 2,489-square-foot home in the Coral Gables Riviera subdivision was built in 1955.

Maynulet is the chief financial officer of the Telemundo Communications Group. He most recently served as a senior vice president and chief financial officer for Universal Media Studios and Universal Cable Productions at NBC Universal in Los Angeles, Calif.

He graduated from Boston College with a B.S. in finance and information systems. He is also a graduate of GE's Financial Management Program.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 419 sales in Coral Gables in 2008, with a median sales price of $449,000.
