Former NBA center sells Surfside 3BD

Medium 2331e7a0f4bd6a98e422a2ab73a008a0 Len J. Kosmalski and his wife, Laura, sold a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 8810 Emerson Ave. in Surfside to James J. Becker and Randi L. Bishins for $539,000 on Sept. 22.

The Kosmalskis bought the property for $720,000 in March 2007. The 2,008-square-foot house in the Bayside Surfside neighborhood was built in 1992.

Mr. Komalski played for two seasons in the NBA with the Kansas City-Omaha Kings. He was drafted in the second round of the 1974 NBA Draft, and averaged 1.4 points and 1.9 rebounds per game in 76 career contests.

He attended the University of Tennessee.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 135 home sales in Surfside in 2008, with a median sales price of $347,850.
