Personal injury lawyer, state attorney buy in Boca Raton

Medium 0e71e03dd1ef8c256d6c534834faddbe Eric Ginnis and his wife, Stefanie, bought a four-bath home at 1048 Park Court in Boca Raton from Lisa Gay Kimmelman for $760,000 on Sept. 16.

The 3,288-square-foot house in the Boca Raton Southwest neighborhood was built in 1992.

Mr. Ginnis is a lawyer and co-founder of Ginnis and Groysman P.A. He focuses his practice on serious personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death and motor vehicle accident litigation. Prior to co-founding Ginnis and Groysman, he served as an associate and partner for Freedland Farmer Russo & Sheller, as a trial attorney with the State Attorney's office and as a clerk for Judge Barry Stone of the Fourth District Court of Appeals.

He earned his B.S. in psychology at Washington and Lee University, his J.D. at the University of Florida School of Law in 2002 and his M.S. in management at the University of Florida Warrington College of Business in 2001.

Mrs. Ginnis is also a lawyer who has served as a supervising assistant state attorney with the felony trial unit of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit in Broward County.

She earned her J.D. at the University of Miami School of Law.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 1,371 home sales in Boca Raton in 2008, with a median sales price of $297,500.
