Chief of medicine settles for Boca Raton 3BD

Medium 97ea139c6ac19e16f7a8b90458f83efd Dr. John F. Rubin and his wife, Sheri, bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 2932 N.W. 41st St. in Boca Raton from Rita Schulman for $325,000 on Oct. 26.

The 2,055-square-foot house was built in 1995 in the Boca Raton Northwest neighborhood.

Dr. Rubin is an internist at the Rubin Clinic and also the chief of medicine at the Boca Raton Community Hospital. Previously, he practiced emergency physician in West Palm Beach.

He earned his M.D. in 1986 from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and his B.A. in anthropology in 1982 from Emory University. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital in 1989.

According to, there have been 1,337 home sales in Boca Raton during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $297,500.
