Janet and Samuel Brill sold a five-bedroom, seven-bath home at 6389 N.W. 72nd Way in Parkland to Gary M. Farmer Jr. and Stacey Farmer for $1.2 million on Nov. 23.

The Brills bought the property for $1.1 million in Aug. 2005. The 6,635-square-foot, two-story property is in Parkland East.

Ms. Brill is a nutrition, health and fitness consultant at Calories, Inc. She's also a director of nutrition for Fitness Franchise Corp. She was an adjunct professor at the University of Miami and at Florida International University.

She had authored two bestselling health and nutrition books and appeared in several TV shows and print media.

She completed her master's degree and doctorate in exercise physiology from the University of Miami, and her master's in dietetics and nutrition from Florida International University, with honors.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 553 home sales in Parkland during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $450,000.
