Charles H. Lichtman and his wife, Gayle, bought a five-bedroom, five-bath home at 1098 Marble Way in Boca Raton from Thelma Duron Figueroa De Sorenson and Gary Allen Sorenson for $1.85 million on Dec. 2.

The Sorensons paid $2.4 million for the property in July 2009. The 8,777-square-foot house was built in 2007 in Boca Raton Central.

Mr. Lichtman is a shareholder at Berger Singerman, a business law firm based in Florida. His practice focuses complex commercial litigation, trial and emergency matters.

He holds a bachelor's degree from Indiana University and received his J.D. from the DePaul University College of Law.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,446 home sales in Boca Raton during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $300,000.
