Michael and Marta Samper bought a five-bedroom, four-bath home at 333 E. Acre Dr. in Plantation from Anthony and Katharine Valinotti for $505,000 on Oct. 5.

The Valinottis paid $145,000 for the property in Aug. 2000. The 4,605-square-foot home in the Plantation East neighborhood was built in 2006.

Mr. Samper is the co-founder of Audio Video Export LLC, a Miami-based distribution company specializing in the Latin America & Caribbean markets. Prior to forming Audio Video Export, he worked at Toshiba America Consumer Products as a regional sales manager and he worked at I.E. Bahnimex.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,369 sales in Plantation during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $152,500.
