IT firm CEO grabs Fort Lauderdale 2BD

Medium 5c352d68f6b2ae70d763769520d45f60 Paul M. Cofoni bought a two-bedroom, two-bath condo at 1200 Holiday Dr. in Fort Lauderdale from Coconut Grove Limited Partnership for $850,000 on Sept. 15.

The 2,011-square-foot Unit #701 is part of the Coconut Grove Residence on Fort Lauderdale Beach, a condominium built in 2008 in the Barrier Island neighborhood.

Cofoni is the president and chief executive officer of CACI International Inc., an information technology and network services firm. Before CACI International, he served as the president of the federal sector at the Computer Sciences Corp., he worked with General Dynamic and he was an officer in the U.S. Army for four years. He is the chairman of the board of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association.

He earned he bachelor's in mathematics from the University of Rhode Island. He also attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 1,730 home sales in Fort Lauderdale in 2008, with a median price of $190,000.
