The 16th annual City of Pembroke Pines Arts and Crafts Festival in the Pines will be held at a new venue -- The Shops at Pembroke Gardens, located east of Interstate-75 off Pines Boulevard at 527 Southwest 145th Terrace.
The festival takes place on March 8 and 9, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Artist and vendor application deadline is Jan. 31.
“The free Art Festival in the Pines is a two-day family friendly cultural event packed with food, fun and of course fine arts and crafts,” said Robyn Vegas, cultural arts coordinator for the City of Pembroke Pines. “We are again hosting a tent for children to enjoy art activities and many of our talented award winning Studio 18 artists will be on site demonstrating their craft.”
More than 15,000 people attend the show, which is presented by the City of Pembroke Pines Arts and Cultural Advisory Board and the Parks and Recreation Department.
“This year’s location at The Shops of Pembroke Gardens promises to be fabulous and our juried art show attracts the best of the best,” said Rose Colombo, chair of The Pembroke Pines Arts and Culture Advisory Board.
