In honor of its 54 birthday celebration, the City of Pembroke Pines is bringing back its Royal Court Contest, with two different pageants.
Winners of the Miss and Lady Pembroke Pines will participate in the Pines Day Royal Court at the annual Pines Day Event on April 5 at Pines Recreation Center.
All contestants must show proof of residency, submit an application and participate in a mandatory rehearsal.
Miss Pembroke Pines Contest
Miss Categories: Miss Pembroke Pines ages 13-16, Junior Miss Pembroke Pines ages 9-12. Young Junior Miss Pembroke Pines, ages 6-8.
The application deadline for the Miss Pembroke Pines is Friday, Jan. 3. All participants must show proof of residence, submit an application and attend a mandatory rehearsal on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 7 p.m.
The Miss Pembroke Pines contest will be held Friday, Jan. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Southwest Focal Point Community Center, 301 Northwest 103rd Ave. in Pembroke Pines.
Applications for Miss Pembroke Pines may be picked up at the Pembroke Pines City Hall Information Desk, the Special Events office at 901 Northwest 208th Ave., any City of Pembroke Pines Park or via email from FNovo@ppines.com or LTropeano@ppines.com.

Lady Pembroke Pines Contest
Lady Pines: For women 60 and older.
The application deadline for Lady Pembroke Pines is Monday, Jan. 6. All participants must show proof of residence, submit an application and attend a mandatory rehearsal on Thursday, Jan. 9 at 10 a.m.
The Lady Pembroke Pines contest will be held Friday, Jan. 10 at noon.
