Math professor buys Stoneleigh home

Medium c072825c9bc6351104bd485eec690e94 Hans Lindblad bought a five-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 7016 Kenleigh Road in Towson from Stephen G. Williams and Patricia H. Williams for $510,000 on March 6.

The Williamses paid $600,000 for the property in August 2007. The 2,216-square-foot house was built in 1930 in the Stoneleigh subdivision.

Lindblad works as a professor in the Department of Mathematics at Lund Institute of Technology. He previously served as visiting member at the Mittag-Leffler Institute. He also served as a professor at the University of California-San Diego, as a visiting professor at the University of Pennsylvania and as a visiting member at both the Newton Institute-Cambridge and the American Institute of Mathematics.

He completed both his M.S. in electrical engineering and Ph.D. in mathematics at the Lund Institute of Technology.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 450 home sales in Towson during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $290,900.
