Calvin Klein exec settles in DUMBO

Medium 954733550bfee59f2d91e2238ee1a14e Lora C. Churcher and Andrew J. Churcher bought the one-bedroom, two-bath Unit#4S at 66 Washington Street in DUMBO from Neslihan Danisman and David W. Bourgeois for $999,000 on July 1.

Danisman and Bourgeois paid $790,000 for the property in Nov. 2005.

Ms. Churcher has been the director of Retail Development, PVH at Calvin Klein.

Prior to joining CK, she worked as director of National Accounts at Davco Inc. and director of Account Management at Kramer Design Group.

She graduated from the University of California-Los Angeles where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Mr. Danisman is an independent apparel & fashion professional.

Mr. Bourgeois is an American writer, satirist, film critic, and editor. He began his career at Spy magazine in 1990. Since then he has written and reported for Entertainment Weekly, New York magazine, Time Out New York, Spin, The Village Voice, Interview,, and Film Threat, among many others.

Most recently, he helped launch the Website, where he worked a staff writer.

The 13-story building at 66 Washington St. is also known as 70 Washington St. Condo.

Sales at 70 Washington St. Condo dropped 74.1 percent from 2007-2008. The median sales price, however, rose 15 percent during that same time period.

There were 115 condo sales in DUMBO/Vinegar Hill/Downtown Brooklyn/Boerum Hill in 2008, with a median sales price of $$492,000.
