Nishioka is a clinical research associate at Cardiovascular Research Foundation.Prior to this, she worked as study coordinator at Hill Top Research.

She studied at the City University of New York-Brooklyn College.

There were 291 home sales in Bay Ridge in 2008, with a median sales price of $345,000.
