Green energy advocate settles in Bedford

Medium f764352014805c33eadd1db312fb462b Christopher F. Neidl and Reena Shah bought a condo unit at 345 Clinton Ave. in Bedford from Clinton Hill Equities LLC for $335,000 on July 29.

The four-building development at 345 Clinton Ave. is in the neighborhood of Clinton Hill. It has 424 units in 14 floors.

Neidl is the advocacy and outreach coordinator for Solar One, a green energy, arts and education center.

He previously worked at the Solar Living Institute in California as an outreach intern, while receiving a hands-on education in photovoltaic installation. He is a founding organizer of New York City's solar-powered music, arts and advocacy festival, Citysol, and was a co-organizer of Sea of People, a local event during the national Step It Up day of climate action in April 2007.

He is pursuing his M.A. at New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Studies.

There were 35 condo sales in Bedford in 2008, with a median sales price of $367,500.
