Commercial litigator buys in Ravenswood

Medium bc234d17a305f16843e49728f0db08f5 Henry Baskerville and Vinciane Salmon bought a 2.5-bath home at 2211 W. Eastwood Ave. in Ravenswood from National City Bank for $645,000 on July 21.

National City Bank foreclosed the property in March 2009. The 2,646-square-foot home was built in 1912.

Baskerville is an associate at the Chicago-based law firm Stetler & Duffy, where he concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation. He previously was an associate at the Law Offices of Daniel Lynch and he worked with the City of Chicago Law Department.

He earned a B.A. degree in philosophy from Boston College and a J.D. from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law.

Salmon is a compliance analyst at Optiver, a proprietary trading firm in Chicago. Prior to joining Optiver, she was a regulatory specialist and compliance examiner at the Chicago Stock Exchange.

She holds an LL.M. from the Universite Des Sciences Sociales.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 443 sales in Ravenswood in 2008, with a median price of $310,000.
