Marketing agency exec buys from art director in Deerfield

Medium 7220ef565c42029259f959c62238cb50 Daniel and Julie Warhaftig bought a two-bath, 3,701-square-foot home at 1061 Springfield Ave. in Deerfield from Adam and Wendy Fleishman for $890,000 on June 15.

The home was built in 2001 in the Deerfield Northwest neighborhood.

Mr. Warhaftig is an account director at the Chicago office of TPN, a brand-centric retail marketing agency. He is responsible for the Gatorade Co. retail marketing account.

Prior to joining TPN, he was an account executive at FCB Chicago. He also was a senior account manager with Chicago-based marketing agency, Upshot.

He attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison and Northwestern University.

Mr. Fleishman is an associate art director at Arc Worldwide, a provider of marketing solutions headquartered in Chicago.

He most recently was an associate director at Razorfish Inc. Previously, he interned at McCann Worldgroup. Prior to that, he was a creative specialist at Bellwether Community Credit Union. Earlier, he was a part-time game presentation and production assistant for the Manchester Monarchs Ice Hockey Club and for the Manchester Wolves Arena Football Club. He also worked as a production artist intern at Red Tettemer and as a graphic designer at Planco and at Storm Thorgerson Inc.

He has a B.F.A. in graphic design from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and an M.S. in mass communication and advertising from Virginia Commonwealth University.

There were 171 sales in Deerfield in 2008, with a median sales price of $406,500.
