Rudy and Annette M. Malnati bought a three-bath home at 1841 Wedgewood Court in Lake Forest from Herbert R. Young and Linda S. Young for $1,097,661 on July 7.

The 4,386-square-foot house, which was built in 1987, is in the Lake Forest Southwest neighborhood.

Mr. Malnati is owner of Pizano, a Chicago pizzeria. He is the son of the late Rudy Malnati, Sr., of Pizzeria Uno fame and the brother of the late Lou Malnati of the pizza chain by the same name.

There were 171 home sales in Lake Forest in 2008, with a median sale price of $860,000.
