Aaron and Amy Hebbeln bought a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 1305 Kristin Dr. in Libertyville from Xinmin Xu and Jing Huang for $472,000 on July 7.

Xu and Huang bought the property for $495,000 in Oct. 2002. The 2,872-square-foot house was built in 1987 in the Libertyville Central neighborhood.

Mr. Hebbeln is brand marketing manager for immunology at Abbott Laboratories, a pharmaceutical company that discovers, develops, manufactures and sells pharmaceutical and nutritional products.

He started his career as a sales representative at Schering-Plough. He then moved to Abbott Laboratories as associate manager for global new product planning. For the past seven years, he moved up to associate product manager, analyst, senior analyst for market research, and product manager for immunology.

He received his B.A. in psychology and Spanish from the University of Iowa and his M.B.A. in marketing from De Paul University's Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.

There were 197 home sales in Libertyville in 2008, with a median sale price of $375,000.
