Linnea Stack and Cory Conniff bought a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 1126 Ashland Ave. in Wilmette from Robert D. Merrilees for $995,000 on Aug. 31.

The property previously was acquired in Feb. 2009. The 2,560-square-foot house was built in 1922 in East Wilmette. It is located in the Cage subdivision.

Stack is an attorney at Kirkland and Ellis, a law firm.

She received her bachelor's degree at the University of Michigan (1998) and her law degree from the Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology (2003).

Merrilees is affiliated with Spot Trading, an investment services firm.

Stack and Conniff previously sold a home at 1012 N. Kingsbury St. in Goose Island for $578,000 in May 2009.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 379 home sales in Wilmette during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $605,000.
