Esformes paid $2.4 million for the house in August 2008. The 5,110-square-foot house was built in 2007. Julie Tag of @properties is the listing agent.

Esformes, a philanthropist, is the president at Neve Yerushalayim, a Jewish educational network providing education to Jewish women. As a cancer survivor, he has also made numerous contributions to Jerusalem's Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 130 home sales in Lincolnwood during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $300,000.
