Investor/airline exec sells Las Vegas 5BD for $2.1M

Robert L. Priddy and his wife, Carol, sold a five-bedroom, 5.5 bath at 9601 Verlaine Court in Las Vegas to Edward and Shauna Smith for $2.1 million on Feb. 1, 2006.

The Priddys paid $1.275 million for the property in March 2001. The 4,999 square foot house, which is in the Peccole West subdivision, was built the same year.

Mr. Priddy, a veteran airline executive and an active private equity investor, is a director at Allegiant Air, an airline company with corporate offices in Las Vegas. He has served on the board since 2005.

He is also the managing partner of ComVest Investment Partners, a position he has held since 2003. He is also an investor and owner of RMC Capital, LLC, which he founded in 1998.

Starting in the 80s, he helped create Atlantic Southeast Airlines, ValuJet Airlines (now AirTran Airlines) and Florida Gulf Airlines.

Priddy graduated from Tulane University with a degree in economics and a minor in history.

Home sales in Las Vegas dropped almost 29 percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price also fell from $280,000 to $270,000.
