Telecommunications exec sells Vegas 3BD for $360K

Todd Miszner and his wife, Brenda Lynn Knott, sold a three-bedroom, 2.5 bath at 10701 Royal Pine Avenue in Las Vegas to Steven and Julie Buuck for $360,000 on June 16.

Miszner and Knott bought the property for $201,444 in March 1999. The 2,608 square foot house, which was built in the same year, is in Chardonnay by Lewis Homes subdivision.

Miszner is the vice president of finance at Telesphere, a Scottsdale, Ariz.-headquartered provider of voice and data communications solutions.

Before he joined Telesphere in 2006, he was director of finance for the Pacific Region of XO Communications (formerly known as Nextlink) for six years. Prior to that, he was the controller of Nextlink Nevada from 1996-2001.

He began his career in the banking industry, which includes working for Bank of America as manager of accounting for five years.

A certified public accountant and internal auditor, Miszner holds a degree in agricultural business from Iowa State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Missouri.

Home sales in Las Vegas increased four percent in 2008 versus sales in 2007. The median sales price dropped from $275,000 to $230,000.
