Italian Job producer scores $4.6M abode

Donald De Line bought a four-bedroom, six-bath at 120 N. Hudson Ave. in Greater Mid-Wilshire/Hancock Park from William Scott Strassner and Timothy Morrison for $4.6 million on Nov. 26.

Morrison and Strassner paid $3.4 million for the property in Aug. 2005.

De Line is a film producer and founder of DeLine Pictures at Paramount. His well-known films include Pretty Woman (1990), The Italian Job(2003), and Body of Lies(2008).

Deline began his career in 1985 as director of production at Disney. In 1990, he was promoted to senior VP of production for Disney's Touchstone Pictures division. He was eventually promoted to executive vice president the year after.

There were 276 sales in Greater Mid-Wilshire/Hancock Park in 2008, with a median price of $892,500.
