Legal duo sells for $2.1M in Chelsea

Boris Dolgonos and Anastasia Efimova sold a condo at 252 Seventh Ave. in Chelsea for $2.1 million to Richard and Susan Feldman on July 14.

Dolgonos and Efimova paid $1.92 million for Unit #11F in Sept. 2007.

Dolgonos is a partner in the capital markets practice of Weil Gotshal in New York City. He specializes in the areas of initial public offerings, high-yield and investment grade debt offerings, structured product offerings and privatizations.

Most recently, Dolgonos was in Europe working in London at Shearman & Sterling and Credit Suisse First Boston, where he worked on multi-billion dollar offerings by Swiss Reinsurance Co., Lukoil and the Hellenic Telecommunications Organization.

He has a B.A. from Harvard University and a J.D. from University of Virginia.

Efimova is an attorney in the New York firm of Cahill Gordon and Reindel. Her career focuses on corporate law and bankruptcy.

Prior to Cahill, she worked at Willkie Farr & Gallagher.

She holds a J.D. from Moscow State University and an L.L.M. from New York University.

The Chelsea Mercantile is 21-story residential building that houses 354 apartments. It was built in 1906.

Residential sales in Chelsea have dropped 35 percent thus far in 2008. The median sales price, however, is up from $667,000 in 2007 to $760,000 so far this year.

Sales in The Chelsea Mercantile dropped eight percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price slightly rose from $1,516,250 to $1.55 million during the same period.
