Luca Benetti and Sydney Brown bought a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 320 S. Saint Bernard St. in Cedar Park from Keith Ransom and Joanne Ransom for $305,500 on June 8.

The 1,924-square-foot house was built in 1925. It was listed on the market for as high as $329,500.

Benetti has worked for Merck, a pharmaceutical company in Philadelphia, as a senior research biochemist.

She graduated in 1998 from the University of Padua in Italy.

There were 87 home sales in Cedar Park in 2008, with a median sales price of $230,000.
