Merck exec spends for Fairmount condo

Medium 9544b0d053e4dee256e82c9cdc47bf77 Deepti Gudipati bought the two-bedroom, one-bath condo Unit #929 at 2001 Hamilton St. in Fairmount from Adam Krezel and Sarah Akras for $315,000 on June 9.

Krezel and Akras paid $300,000 for the property in March 2006. The 937-square-foot townhouse was built in 1970.

Mr. Gudipati works on the information systems leadership program for Merck & Co. Inc., a global research-driven pharmaceutical company established in 1891.

He previously was a strategic analyst at the Rural Unit for Health and Social Action. He has served as training programs specialist at Incarnate Word Foundation and has been a Coro fellow at the Coro Fellowship in Pubic Affairs.

He attended the University of Pennsylvania and Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business. He received a master's degree in public policy and management from Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz School of Public Policy and Management.

The development at 2001 Hamilton St. is in Cityview Condominiums, located in Center City, Old City, and the Art Museum Area.

There were 112 condo sales in Fairmount in 2008, with a median sales price of $261,500.
