Dr. M. Louis Moy and Dr. Sharon Y. Byun sold a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 1131 Pine St. in Center City East to David and Marka Axelrod for $565,000 on July 1.

Dr. Moy and Dr. Byun bought the property for $542,500 in Feb. 2005. The 2,025-square-foot house was built in 1900.

Dr. Moy is a surgeon who specializes in urologic surgery. He is an assistant professor in the University of Pennsylvania's Department Of Urology.

He received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Chicago and his medical degree from Loyola University's Stritch School of Medicine. He completed his surgical and urologic residency training at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and his two-year fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at the Gickman Urological Institute of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

Dr. Byun is an obstetrician and gynecologist and an assistant professor of clinical obstetrics and gynecology at the hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

She received her degree from the Temple University School of Medicine and completed her residency at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

There were 306 home sales in Center City East in 2008, with a median sale price of $327,500.
