The Cohens bought the property for $325,000 in June 2005. The 864-square-foot house was built in 1925.

Ms. Cohen is assistant general counsel at the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington D.C.

There were 384 home sales in Center City West in 2008, with a median sales price of $374,300.
