Mr. Bedno is an adjunct professor of museum communications at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
He formerly was director of exhibitions at the Field Museum of Chicago and chief of exhibitions at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C. Before that, he was a professor of exhibition graphics and museum history at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He founded the university's graduate program in museum exhibition planning and design.
He has also been a partner at Bedno/Bedno Inc., an exhibition and graphic design firm located in Chicago.
He received his B.F.A. from the Art Institute of Chicago and his M.S. from the Institute of Design at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
Ms. Bedno is a professor of museum communications, as well as the acting co-chair of the graduate programs in museum studies at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
She previously was the founding director of the graduate program in museum exhibition planning and design. She is a former associate professor and director of the Center for Design Studies at Memphis State University. Before that, she taught at School of Design at the University of Illinois in Chicago, at Virginia Commonwealth University and at Columbia College Chicago.
She has been president, manager and senior designer at Bedno/Bedno Inc., and was a consultant to international and U.S. museums and institutions.
She received her B.A. from Roosevelt University and her J.D. from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary.
