Andrew C. Stober and Keren L. Sofer bought a three-bedroom, one-bath home at 1434 S. Juniper St. in Wharton from Alyson Accardi for $290,000 on April 3.

Accardi paid $280,000 for the property in May 2007. The 1,488-square-foot townhouse, built in 1919, is in Wharton.

Stober is a chief of staff at the Mayor's Office of Transportation and Utilities at the City of Philadelphia, where he was previously the director of strategic initiatives. He also managed the investment analysis unit and was the metropolitan and regional planner at the Colorado Department of Transportation, a program associate at the Center for Global Development and an airline planner at Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.

He holds an M.P.P. from Harvard University Kennedy School of Government and a B.S.B.A. from Northeastern University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 341 home sales in Wharton during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $225,000.
