Assistant professor gets Wharton townhome

Medium a88e9f03c1e65083a07c17092fe58722 Maisy Wong bought a 1,215-square-foot townhome at 940 South St. in Wharton from Suzanne Ponsoll for $281,000 on April 9.

The home was built in 2006.

Wong is an assistant professor in the real estate department of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

She has a B.A. in economics from the University of California and a Ph.D. in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Wong also owns the home at 704 Lombard St. in Center City East. She paid $470,000 for the property in May 2009.
